Learn From Natural World
Agricultural studies should be one of the priority courses/subjects in the Philippine educational system. It should be introduced and taught to children as early as primary levels to understand the importance of agriculture in our family values and country's economic stature. The Philippines is a megadiverse country that is rich in natural resources and agriculture, a fact that we should all be proud of. We need not to depend on imported goods since we are capable of producing our own. We just need to learn how.

Training in Agriculture
Look at nature. There is room within her vast boundaries for schools to be established where grounds can be cleared and land cultivated. This work is essential to the education most favorable to spiritual advancement; for nature's voice is the voice of Christ, teaching us innumerable lessons of love and power and submission and perseverance. {6T 178.1}

Health and Education
No line of manual training is of more value than agriculture. A greater effort should be made to create and to encourage an interest in agricultural pursuits. Let the teacher call attention to what the Bible says about agriculture: that it was God's plan for man to till the earth; that the first man, the ruler of the whole world, was given a garden to cultivate; and that many of the world's greatest men, its real nobility, have been tillers of the soil. {Education, p. 219}
